Celebrating Employee Ownership with Union Industries

 

After 40 years of trading the original founder-owners of Union Industries, the unique ‘Mr and Mrs S’ (Paul and Isobel Schofield), sold a majority of their shares to a trust to hold them on behalf of their employees.

Union Industries was founded in 1972 and became employee-owned in November 2014. They are a manufacturer of bespoke industrial products including industrial roller doors, safety netting, ropes, tarpaulins, canvas and much more.

Since transition to EO the company has developed a greater sense of ownership, purpose, shared value and team working.
