Toby is an experienced senior share schemes and employment tax lawyer.
He has over 10 years experience specialising in employee share schemes and employment tax advice for a wide range of private and listed companies. In particular, he has advised on and implemented specialist incentive arrangements for many start-ups and VC backed companies. He also has experience of global share plans for larger international companies and more recently has worked on several Employee Ownership Trusts (EOTs).
He graduated with a Batchelor of Laws from LSE in 1991 and has gained experience at a number of firms including DLA Piper, Deloitte and most recently Grant Thornton, before joining the team at Postlethwaite. He is a member of the Share Plan Lawyers Group.

A graduate in law from the University of Manchester, Judith qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and worked for a number of years in the area of general company and commercial law, particularly for clients in the entertainment industry. She has been focussing on employee share schemes since she joined Postlethwaite in 2007 and on employee ownership in more recent years.

Stephen graduated from the University of Dundee with an LLB (Hons) and qualified as a solicitor in 2008. He has experience in working at both law firms and ‘Big 4’ accountancy firms, and most recently he gained in-house share plans experience working at a bank. He is a member of the Share Plan Lawyers Group and the Association of Taxation Technicians.
